Cleveland Construction, Inc. recently completed the construction of the new Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel on 5910 American Way in Orlando, Florida.
The hotel, which broke ground in June 2017, was developed by Benderson Development and designed by FRCH Nelson (formerly FRCH Design Worldwide). Cleveland Construction provided construction management services for the project.
The new 6-story, 76,740 square-foot Home2 Suites hotel was constructed on a 4-inch concrete slab with structural steel, 8-inch hollow-core precast concrete plank flooring, and masonry and metal framing. The 122-room, extended-stay hotel features a lobby with a breakfast/gathering area, a fitness center, an open-air exterior pool, guest laundry service, and back-of-house areas. The lobby level contains 9 of the 122 guestrooms, while the remaining guestrooms are split equally on levels 2 through 6.
