Driving Park Library

Columbus, Ohio

Project Overview

Cleveland Construction Inc. completed the interior trades package for the Driving Park Library, a branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library.

The project was the first of 10 projects in the library system’s $120 million building program, which called for the relocation of 6 branch libraries and the renovation and expansion of 4 other libraries - with all work expected to be completed by 2020.

The new Driving Park Library is a 15,334 SF building that features 47 public computers, areas designated for children and teens, and 3 conference rooms designed to accommodate up to 120 people.

Cleveland Construction’s scope of work for the new library included metal framing, drywall, air barriers, rigid and spray foam insulation, acoustical ceiling tile, rough carpentry, painting, and an exterior rainscreen system.
