Cleveland Construction, Inc. performed as the general contractor for the tenant build-out of an existing K-Mart to a Burlington Coat Factory.
The project began with selective interior and exterior demolition, along with the removal of masonry and installation of two new loading docks, featuring a lift pit with scissor lifts. In addition, a demising wall was installed by Cleveland Construction, Inc. in the middle section of the 60,000 square-foot building to allow for separation.
New systems such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire alarms, plumbing, and security were installed.
Exterior work completed on the project included seal-coating the parking lot, landscaping, new asphalt, irrigation, planting, and painting.
This 60,000 square-foot retail facility now features luxury finishes, such as porcelain tile and architectural wood work, with new offices, restrooms, fitting rooms, check-outs, new vestibule, and a sales floor.
The project was completed on a 5-month construction schedule.
