Project Overview
The 21c Museum Hotel project involved the restoration and renovation of the historic Metropole Hotel located across from the Aronoff Center for the Arts and adjacent to the Lois and Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.
The 10-story 21c Museum Hotel features a contemporary art museum with more than 8,000 SF of exhibition space that is open to the public free of charge, 156 rooms, a Proof restaurant and bar, and meeting spaces. The hotel fosters the ongoing revival of the Queen City and strengthens its role as a cultural destination.
Cleveland Construction’s scope of work on this restoration and renovation project included the installation of interior metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical and metal ceilings, axiom trims, rough carpentry, and miscellaneous specialty finishes.
