Hilton Canopy and Hilton Garden Inn Dual-Brand Hotel Project Description:
The project is the conversion of an existing high-rise office building (Fourth & Walnut Center) located at 105 East 4th Street into a Dual-brand Hotel. Hilton Garden Inn will be the hotel brand from levels 3 to 10. Canopy by Hilton will occupy levels 11 to 20. The overall building gross area is approximately 518,665 SqFt. The hotel will have a total of 349 rooms. The main lobby for both hotel brands will be entered from 4th street and will include a restaurant, a bar, and a kitchen. The 2nd level will overlook the 2-Story lobby and includes meeting rooms and an expanded height ballroom. In addition to the main hotel function, the 6-Story portion of the project (Building C) will be converted from office to a valet garage that services the hotel. In-lieu of adding vehicle ramps, two-vehicle lifts will be added to service the valet garage. Specific scope includes complete interior demolition, structural reinforcement and improvements, all interior walls and finishes, and all new MEP's. Note this is a Historical Building and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
