Cleveland Construction, Inc. Expands Operations in Orlando, Florida

Ohio-Based Firm Opens Office to Strengthen Regional Presence in Central Florida

Cleveland Construction, Inc. is pleased to announce the expansion of its self-performing interior and exterior trades division in Orlando, Florida. Cleveland Construction’s self-performing Interior Trades division handles the installation of a wide range of trades, including metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and prefabrication for commercial buildings.

Cleveland Construction is no stranger to Central Florida. The company has been actively working on projects in the area since 1984. Orlando marks the firm’s second location in Florida, joining the Naples office that opened in 2005, and positioning the company to better serve clients in Central Florida. The new office is located at 2256 West Taft Vineland Road in Orlando, Florida.

The new office will be managed by two industry veteran Cleveland Construction employees – Jeff Ramsey and David Kurilko, Jr.

Jeff Ramsey, General Manager of the company’s new Orlando office, will concentrate on business development in Central Florida while overseeing the office and securing the firm’s local market presence by bidding interior trade packages for local contractors. Operations Manager David Kurilko, Jr. is relocating from Cleveland Construction’s Columbus, Ohio office to Orlando and will provide oversight of manpower coordination, scheduling, quality assurance, and safety for the company’s self-performing interior trade operations in Central Florida.

“The Central Florida area has become a focal point for our construction services in the Southeast, with even more opportunities on the horizon,” said Jeff Ramsey. “This office will give us an additional home base for our Orlando project managers and staff.”

Currently, the company is performing as Construction Manager to complete two Home2 Suites hotels on American Way and Technological Avenue in Orlando. Cleveland Construction’s Interiors Trades division is self-performing the interior trades package for Phase 1 of the new South Terminal "C" at the Orlando International Airport (OIA).

Over the last year, key employees have been working in Orlando and the surrounding areas to build relationships with the business community and trade partners in the market to re-establish the company in the region.

The Orlando location is the seventh regional office of Cleveland Construction, following the firm’s recent expansion into Charlotte, North Carolina. By strengthening its local market presence in Florida, Cleveland Construction continues to scale its reputation across the country.
