Cleveland Construction receives an Award of Merit For the Restoration of The Residences at 668

Cleveland, OH – May 20, 2011 - On May 19th, the general contracting firm of Cleveland Construction, Inc. received local recognition from The Cleveland Restoration Society by receiving the Award of Merit for the historical restoration work performed at The Residences at 668 Euclid in Cleveland, OH.

Originally built in 1909, The Residences at 668 Euclid project consisted of complete historical renovations of two buildings, an 8-story, 279,000 square-foot building fronting Euclid Avenue and a 5-story, 150,000 square-foot building fronting Prospect Avenue. Both buildings were converted into 236 one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments that are equipped with modern amenities and unique floor plans. The two buildings are connected by a 2-story glass enclosed courtyard. In addition to luxury residences, the newly renovated buildings also features 28,000 square feet of office space on the first level, dramatic 8-story atrium, fitness center, sports bar, restaurant, courtyard, public plaza and below-grade parking.

The Cleveland Restoration Society & AIA Cleveland hosted their annual Celebration of Preservation Awards Program on May 19th at the Hanna Theater in Downtown Cleveland to recognize exemplary projects and individuals who have made significant investments in the revitalization of Northeast Ohio.
