In support of Safety Week 2015, we have thanked all of our workers from laborers, apprentices, journeymen, foreman, superintendents, and project managers that daily put safety first done through simple acts such as wearing the required PPE - hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, etc.
We have also reminded our leaders to remember OSHA's Focus Four - Falls, Caught-In/Between, Struck-By, and Electrocution because as our Director Administration, Safety & Training, Mitch DaDante advises,
"Any one incident is one too many. Life is too precious to not make safety the number one focus in the U.S. Construction Industry."
It is our policy to operate in a safe environment that will eliminate injuries to our employees and members of the public and we believe that productivity and safety can both be accomplished without substituting one for the other. We remind our employees that accident prevention starts and can only be accomplished on our jobsites, and it is the responsibility of all of our employees to become familiar with and help implement the Safety Program.
Safety is not just practiced one week per year at Cleveland Construction, it is our number one focus from preconstruction to completion.
