Cleveland Construction, Inc. recently completed a remodel of an existing 204,642 square-foot Walmart Supercenter in West Chester, Ohio.
The scope of work our team managed included a complete remodel of the pharmacy, (6) restrooms, associate breakrooms, back-of-house offices, customer entrances, and relocation the store’s photo lab. The interior of the store was re-painted and all wall protection and countertops were re-laminated and refurbished. 26,000 square-foot of LVT flooring was replaced and 2,500 square-foot of exposed concrete was honed & polished on the sales floor.
New lighting fixtures were installed in the grocery area, garden center, and restrooms. New occupancy sensors were installed to replace the existing single pole light switches throughout the store.
Exterior work included replacing stamped concrete and bollards at stores entrances, EIFS re-painting, installing new signage, and installing new exhaust fans on the roof.
The remodel was completed over 12-weeks while the store remained open to the public. The store's Grand Opening took place on November 9, 2018.
