Cleveland Construction, Inc. was recently awarded the contract to build a new 185,000 square-foot Walmart Supercenter in Hollywood, Florida.

The 40 acre site will consist of a single-story, high bay commercial structure constructed of a combination of load-bearing concrete blocks and steel columns, site work and infrastructure for seven out-lot parcels developed separately by the property owner. Construction will also consist of 2 large stormwater detention bases with sheet pile walls and include offsite signal and turn lanes on State Route 7 and Hollywood Boulevard.

Construction is scheduled to begin September 2, 2014 with substantial completion of the project expected in June of 2015.
