Walls and Ceilings Contractor for the Thomas Comprehensive Care Center
Cleveland Construction, Inc. is performing as the interior trades contractor under Turner Construction for the construction of the Thomas Comprehensive Care Center on Bethesda North Hospital’s 90-acre campus in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Upon completion, the 135,000 SF addition will provide world-class, patient-centered care and will consolidate the outpatient care services of the TriHealth Cancer Institute, TriHealth Heart Institute, the Mary Jo Cropper Family Center for Breast Care, and TriHealth imaging departments.
Specifically, the new care center will house radiation, surgical, and medical oncology services, as well as a range of outpatient cancer therapies and support services such as precision medicine, genetic counseling, nutrition education, and survivorship programs. In addition, the building will house cutting-edge research, clinical trials, and emerging treatment protocols.
The project also includes the construction of a 145,000 SF parking garage with 481 spaces that will serve the existing hospital and the new medical building.
Cleveland Construction’s scope of work for the walls and ceilings package on this project includes the installation of metal framing, interior insulation, drywall hanging, drywall finishing, plaster, acoustical ceilings, finish carpentry for wood ceilings, firestopping, integrated x-ray shielding assemblies, radio frequency shielding, and radiation protection with lead-lined drywall.
