Mentor School District selects CCI for Auxiliary Gym Project
June 22, 2010
Cleveland Construction, Inc., a national general contracting
firm, has been selected by Mentor Exempted Village School District, as the
general contractor for Mentor High School’s Auxiliary Gymnasium renovation
project located in Mentor, Ohio.
The project consists of converting a former automotive
technology classroom and wrestling room into two small gyms connected by a
two-lane, 100-meter track. Each gym will house a nearly full-size basketball
court and would be lined for both basketball and volleyball. The new auxiliary
gym space will allow for a broader range of fitness-oriented activities than
those classes can currently take part in when held in the primary gym.
Construction on the project is scheduled to begin
in June 2010 and final completion is planned for September 2010.
