CCI Announces ASHE Certified Professionals

Jessup, MD (December, 2009) – Cleveland Construction, Inc. (CCI) announces that 3 employees from the company’s interior trades division have recently achieved certification from the American Society of Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). For more than 50 years, ASHE has been dedicated to optimizing the healthcare physical environment.
As the largest personal membership group of the American Hospital Association (AHA), ASHE represents a diverse network of professionals dedicated to their work in the health care industry, including health care facility managers, engineers, architects, and contractors. ASHE provides advocacy representation, education programs and products, and professional development opportunities to its members. To achieve the ASHE certification, members had to attend a 2-day seminar and pass a multilayered exam determining the member’s knowledge and skills to advocate continuous improvement in healthcare engineering, construction and facilities management.
Cleveland Construction employees achieving ASHE certification were:

- Steve Skelinski
These employees add to Cleveland Construction’s depth of safe construction in the healthcare industry. Cleveland Construction has worked for more than a decade with the nation’s top construction managers and hospitals to organize the best techniques to protect patients during construction, most recently during the construction of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland, Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda Maryland, Westchester Medical Center in Westchester Ohio, and Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.
