Project Description:

Cleveland Construction, Inc. was chosen as the specialty contractor for Tennessee’s new state-of-the-art prison in Wartburg, Tennessee.  The Morgan County Correctional Complex will house more than 2,400 inmates and led to the decommissioning of the historic Brushy Mountain Correctional Complex.

The Morgan County Complex is 500,000 square feet and sits on 65 acres.  The prison includes 19 new buildings to the original 3 and includes a central command center, administration building, cafeterias, and gymnasiums. The complex will house minimum, medium and maximum-security inmates. 

Cleveland Construction’s scope of work included installation of drywall, acoustical ceilings EIFS, and sound panels.
