Project Description:
When a geologist notes the worst soil conditions of any site they have ever seen, Cleveland Construction, Inc (CCI) goes to work. The Meadowview Shopping Center and Goodwill store in Kent, Ohio, while traditional in final design, had many unique aspects that CCI was able to address and solve beneficially for the owner. We saved the owner $140,000 by addressing the soil condition and by redesiging the fire alarm system. And because we completed the job 2 months in advance of the anticipated timeline, the tenant spaces were able to be built-out sooner.
Through weekly meetings and updates, CCI ensured that the owner and subcontractors knew what was happening and what was needed for next steps.
Since completion of the shell, CCI has completed multiple tenant build-outs without disruption to normal business operation and has maintained a positive working partnership with the owner.
"[Carnegie Companies] would like to express our gratitude to Cleveland Construction for a job well done on our Meadowview Square Shopping Center project. We were very happy with the competence and professionalism of [their] team."
