Project Description:
One of the largest projects of its kind, The Grande Lakes Resort is located in Orlando, Florida. This enormous vacation getaway includes a Marriott Hotel and a Ritz Carlton.
Cleveland Construction, Inc. completed the exterior framing and exterior skin package for this project. Over one million square feet of exterior metal framing and plaster are wrapped around the structural members. Large amounts of GFRG and FRP trims were also used to complete this project. Not only was Cleveland Construction, Inc. able to engineer a scaffolding system that saved time for completing their scope of work, but the scaffolding system was utilized by other trades enabling them to be more efficient; reducing their schedule for each required construction task.
This lavish resort includes the following:
- 963 guest rooms and 64 guest suites.
- Located on 500 acres with lush, tropical landscaping.
- 40,000-square foot spa.
- Greg Norman-designed, championship golf course
- 72,000 square feet of meeting space, including 20,000 and 30,000-square-foot ballrooms.
