The Fort Bragg project consists of 25 buildings that collectively house and provide a headquarters from which to administrate the entire 1st Brigade. Specifically this project is serving as a new home for many of our troops that have returned from deployments in the Afghanistan and Iraq. There are 9 Barracks Buildings, 3 Soldier Community Buildings, 8 Company Operation Facilities, 3 Battalion Headquarters Buildings, 1st Brigade Headquarters Building and a Dining Facility. Cleveland Construction’s scope of work for this project includes; exterior studs, sheathing, and EIFS, interior studs, drywall, acoustic ceilings and linear metal ceilings on all 25 buildings.
Cleveland Construction was recognized on 3 separate occasions throughout the life of the project by our client, The Savannah District of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers for Superior Safety Performance and Quality. The award as presented reads:
“Cleveland Construction is hereby awarded this certificate of achievement for their accomplishment of quality construction while upholding the highest standards of safety performance. As part of the safety program, The Corps of Engineers is honored to recognize your achievement of safety on the 1st Brigade Barracks Complex for the 1st quarter of FY 2003 in the Subcontractor category. Your dedication to our safety program stands as an emblem of achievement and gives great credit for you and the U. S. Corps of Engineers.”
