Project Description:

As one of the nation’s largest airports, the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is constantly changing to accommodate the needs of the 40 million people it serves each year.

A recent change was in the form of renovation and Cleveland Construction, Inc. (CCI) was pleased to be a part of the team that completed the work. This renovation included over 440,000 square feet of terminal renovations, 12 gates, 39 ticket counters, a 70,000 square- foot pedestrian tunnel and a moving walkway system.  The project also included a Federal Inspection Services (FIS) Building and a new facility centralizing U.S. Customs Services for international flight arrivals for Terminal D and Terminal E.

CCI worked on these projects at IAH, executing and delivering on the interior trades contracts that included: cold-metal framing, rough carpentry, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and other related interior specialties. Those projects, and their values are: (FIS) Building - $5,500,000.00, Terminal D - $4,000,000.00, Building 500M - $3,000,000.00.
